"Two years ago, I signed up for a training program to get fit and train for some distance races. I successfully completed several races, including two marathons. In 2008, I registered for Marisa's training program to continue what I had started. With her help, I improved my speed and endurance. She taught me to transition from training hard to training smart. Her "quality not quantity" philosophy has been very helpful in teaching me to focus on the most important aspects of my training. Marisa has also provided a lot of advice and is always willing to share her knowledge of fitness, nutrition and training techniques. In addition, Marisa provides a fun, energetic training atmosphere where I have made many new friends. This year I will be competing in my first Ironman distance event.
